With a GIA graduate gemologist, goldsmith and a GIA certified jewelry professional on staff, Robert’s Jewelry prides itself on its team’s ability to offer expert guidance and advice.
Because we are a second-generation, family owned jewelry store, all who work with us end up staying year after year, and becoming part of the Robert’s family. No one works for commission here. Instead, we all work together and focus on what’s really important – our customer.
Robert J. Corey, G.G., Goldsmith
Owner
Robert graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 1980 with a graduate gemologist degree, and then earned a jewelry arts degree in 1981. He opened and managed the first full-service repair department in Northern Maine. Robert is passionate about the jewelry business, and oversees everything from jewelry buying, marketing, appraisals, and jewelry repair. Interacting with customers, though, is what Robert values most, and excels at forging lifelong relationships.
Sylvie Pelletier Corey, Certified Jewelry Professional
Co-Owner
Sylvie joined her husband Robert as co-owner of Robert’s Jewelry in 1999. She started in
customer service, but quickly learned every aspect of the jewelry business, from managing the
jewelry repair department, to engraving, to jewelry buying and marketing. She is also
responsible for social media. Sylvie has a special affinity for pearls and pearl restringing.
Lisa Michaud
Lisa has been part of the Robert’s family for over 30 years. Her many years of loyalty and
experience in the jewelry business has made her an invaluable asset to the company. Lisa is
involved in most aspects of the store, from jewelry buying, to accounting, to customer service.
Diamonds are her specialty here at the store.
June Cyr
June has been working part-time for Robert’s Jewelry for over 16 years. With her, she brought an
extensive knowledge of the retail business, having owned and managed her own clothing store
for 19 years. June thoroughly enjoys working with people, and is a great addition to our family.
